Jane Ryder

I have a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and an MS in Library Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I've been a reader and writer all my life, and have worked with books and authors for almost as long—as a typist, proofreader, librarian, editor, project manager, consultant, and occasional therapist. I founded RAR in 2016 after eight years managing an editorial company, where I developed a thorough understanding of the needs of authors at all stages of writing.

The Team

I team up with some amazing people for things like book launch planning, beta reading, copy editing, and proofreading. I can also connect you with prevetted experts in developmental editing, book design, audiobook production, and ebook formatting.

Think Small

I prefer to keep my client list small so I can give the authors I work with the support and attention they deserve. This means I don't often have openings for new clients, but if you have a project you need help with, feel free to get in touch and we'll see what's what!
